I've read before that there is a simple way to get a Lv. 100 Shaymin in Pokemon Platinum. I'm not exactly sure if it works, because I don't have Pokemon Platinum, but the way the anonymous guy online wrote it, it was kind of convincing. So here it is.
1. Pick Chimchar as your starter.
2. Give your Chimchar, Monferno, or Infernape a Potion to hold.
3. Get the Odd Keystone. The easiest place to get it would be in Twinleaf town. To get it, Surf down in the water, then use the Poketch app Dowsing Machine to find the Odd Keystone hidden in the trees.
4. Put the Odd Keystone in the Hallowed Tower, an item that looks like a crumbling well south of Solaceon Town.
5. Go to the Sinnoh Underground and talk to exactly 50 people, instead of 32. 32 is for Spiritomb, one of only 2 Pokemon with a type pairing that, under normal circumstances, has no weaknesses. The other is Sableye, a Hoenn Pokemon.
6. Go back to the Hallowed Tower. Try to make sure you have a Master Ball, and save in front of the figure that has appeared in front of the Hallowed Tower. Also, if you want a specific nature for the Shaymin, have an open space in your party so that you won't have to catch it and go all the way back to a town to look at it.
7. Talk to the figure that appeared by the tower, and use your Master Ball on it. If you can't get a Master Ball, Get a Scyther at the highest level you can, and make sure it knows False Swipe. Also, have a huge stock of Ultra Balls, Timer Balls, 4 Quick Balls, and Dusk Balls. Only get Dusk Balls if you want to catch Shaymin at night.
Using this glitch, I think that you can get Shaymin. I read this glitch on http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090409064341AApjF8p.

Awesome Pokemon Team
Anyone who has a friend to trade Pokemon with might not want to raise their Pokemon for a really long time until they get to Lv. 100. Well, there is a way to get an amazing team. You could:
1. Level up your Pokemon with Rare Candies and make them stronger with vitamins (HP Up, Protein, Iron, Calcium, Zinc, and Carbos).
Or, you could do something that takes more time, is more affordable, and makes your Pokemon stronger.
2. Trade Pokemon from your friend's game, and use less vitamins.
You would get more EVs (Effort Values) using number 2, and you will also have a higher chance of breeding Pokemon with a Ditto or a Pokemon in the same Egg Groups. So the very powerful team would be:
Dragonite, Lv. 75+, Quiet nature
Moves: Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Outrage, and Hyper Beam.
Mewtwo/ Alakazam, Lv. 85+, Adamant nature
Moves: Psychic, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, and Thunderbolt.
Blissey, Lv. 80+, Bold nature
Moves: (Pick 2 of the three) Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, or Ice Beam. Softboiled and Minimize.
Nidoking, Lv.80+, Careful nature
Moves: Megahorn, Double Kick, Earthquake, and Strength or Double- Edge.
3rd Stage Starter, Lv.80, Gentle nature
Moves: (Charizard) Blast Burn, Fire Blast, Heat Wave, and Fly.
Moves: (Venusaur) Frenzy Plant, Razor Leaf, Leech Seed, and Sleep Powder.
Moves: (Blastoise) Hydro Cannon, Surf, Skull Bash, and Hydro Pump.
Lapras, Lv.75+, Calm nature (The recommended ability is Water Absorb, giving Lapras 1 immunity. It also recovers up to 25% of its max HP)
Moves: Perish Song, Surf, Blizzard, and Ice beam.

Pickup Trick
In some Pokemon games, you may find Meowths or Phanpys. They have the Pickup ability. In the Pokemon Emerald, you must raise your Pokemon to a high level to get good items. I recommend catching/ trading Meowth, because at Lv.20, it learns Pay Day. Pay Day Gives you the Pokemon who used its level times ten in money. For example, if I had a Lv.100 Meowth, using Pay Day would give me $1000 each time I use it. So then, catch 6 Pokemon with the Pickup ability, and go somewhere with weak wild Pokemon. Battle about 3 Pokemon there, and then go to the menu and select Pokemon. If some of your Pokemon are holding items, take them away. In Emerald, having your Pickup Pokemon between levels 90 and 100 gives you the chance of finding Tm. Earthquake. Most likely you will just get Berries, but using this trick, I got 3 Rare Candies in under 2 minutes. In the Hoenn games, there is a 1% chance of getting a King's Rock from a Pickup Pokemon.

Pokemon Fire Red/ Leaf Green Exp. and Black Belt Trick
This is an easy way to make tons of Fighting type Pokemon 10% better and gives you lots of Exp. for any Pokemon that can learn Thief. First, go to Mt. Moon. Search through every room until you find an item ball. One item ball in Mt. Moon contains Tm. 46 Thief. When you get it, go anywhere that you can find a strong Ghost or Psychic Pokemon. When you find one that you like, catch it. I chose Lost Cave because there are really powerful Haunter there. If you are really patient, you might also go to Lavender Town for a Gastly or Haunter in Pokemon Tower. Train it until it's at least Lv. 60. Teach it Thief, and I recommend also teaching it Psychic. Then go to One Island. Surf to the Ember Spa. Battle all of the trainers with your Pokemon that knows Thief. Use Thief on their first Pokemon, then use Psychic. Every time you battle at trainer there this way, you should get a Black Belt. A Black Belt boosts the power of any Fighting type attack by 10% and sells for $50. This is very helpful if you mostly catch Fighting type Pokemon. After a battle, take the Black Belt away from your Pokemon that knows Thief. Keep using the Vs. Seeker to battle the trainers more. It takes 100 steps to recharge. When your Pokemon with Thief faints or runs out of PP for Theif, go into the Ember Spa. The water in there heals your Pokemon like a Pokemon Center. It also helps to do this when your Pokemon runs out of PP for Psychic, because without Psychic, defeating the Fighting Pokemon will probably be hard. And NEVER use a Dark type Pokemon, because Fighting moves are Super Effective against Dark type Pokemon.

Crobat Trick
The last post I wrote talked about how to get items from Lady Selphy. A good way to get a Crobat would be to keep on training a Golbat until it reaches max happiness. But there is a way that is much faster. After getting a few Luxury Balls from Selphy, go to Mt. Moon with a weak Pokemon like a Lv. 13 Pidgey. Find a Zubat, and use a weak move like Tackle on it until it reaches low health. Then, use a Luxury Ball to catch it. The Luxury Ball will make the Zubat grow happier quicker. Then, go to Vermilion City. Go to the field to the right of the city, and go in the building at the far right. go up the stairs, and talk to the man with the white clothes. He is one of Professor Oak's aides, and he has an Itemfinder to give to you. He will only give it to you if you have at least 30 Pokemon in your Pokedex. But if you already have the National Dex, you won't have to worry about that, because you need 60 Pokemon in your Pokedex to get the National Dex. So, get the Itemfinder, and Fly to Lavender Town. Go to the top of Pokemon Tower, and use the Itemfinder at the exact spot that Mr. Fugi was to get a Soothe Bell. It makes Pokemon grow happier faster. Make your Zubat hold it to make it become happier even faster. with a Luxury Ball and a Soothe Bell, the Zubat will grow to max happiness really quickly. The reason you should catch the Zubat at Mt. Moon is because Zubat evolves at Lv. 22. Leveling Pokemon up also makes them happier, and using Carbos for a super fast Crobat and Protein for Poison type attacks and Flying type attacks makes the Zubat better and happier.
Doing this makes any Pokemon grow happier 2.5 times faster
This is for Fire Red and Leaf Green only. I don't know if the Sevii Islands are in other games.

Pokemon Fire Red/ Leaf Green Lady Selphy Trick
First, to get to Lady Selphy, you need to get to her through Lost Cave. There are also some important items for filling your Pokedex in the cave.
Direction Keys: >= Right, <= Left, ^= Up, and v= Down.
Lady Selphy:>, ^, v, v, >, <, v, >, ^. Lady Selphy will challenge you to a match. She has two Lv.49 Persians, and if you go back to where she was, you will find a Silk Scarf. A Silk Scarf raises the power of any Normal type attack by 10%, making Tauros even better.
Lax Incense: >, v.
Max Revive: >, ^, v, v, >, >.
Rare Candy: >, ^, v, v, >, <, v, <.
Sea Incense: >, ^, v, ^.
Whatever you do, DO NOT SELL EITHER OF THE INCENSES! If you need more money, go to the Vermilion City Pokemon Center, and talk to the girl standing next to where you are when you're getting your Pokemon healed. She will give you a Vs. Seeker, which allows you to challenge any trainer you have battled before. It also shows trainers you haven't battled before with a red "!" above their heads. A trainer you have battled before will either have a blue X or a blue "!!" above their head. The incenses are used for getting two Hoenn Pokemon. Give a Wobbuffet the Lax Incense and breed it at Four Island to get a Wynaut, and a Marill/ Azumarill with the Sea Incense for an Azurill.
So then, go to the house at Resort Gorgeous that says "Selphy" on the mailbox. Talk to Lady Selphy, and she will ask to see a certain Pokemon. Save before you talk to her in case you don't have the Pokemon she wants to see. Then fly back to the Five Island Pokemon Center and get the Pokemon. She will always ask for a Pokemon in your Pokedex, whether you've caught it or not. If you show her the Pokemon she wants to see, she will give you an item you can't buy anywhere. What I've gotten from her so far is:
11 Luxury Balls.
3 Stardusts.
2 Nuggets.
2 Pearls.
2 Rare Candies.
1 Star Piece.
I believe that may be all of the kinds of items you can get from Lady Selphy. Also, I think the reason you may only find a few of the items in Lost Cave in other places is because Selphy must have dropped them while looking for a way out of the cave.
